The Universe Within

A simple frame of bones,
A mere vessel for others to see.
But not to me, for I see the universe,
The galaxy that resides within thee.
Your silky skin, a canvas,
A portrait of your journey so far.
Every scar, every line, every pore,
A testament to who you are.
The blood rushing through your veins,
The evidence of your beating heart.
But it's your soul that truly shines through,
The essence of you that sets you apart.
To others, you're just a human being,
Shadowed by mundane existence.
But to me, you're a constellation,
A magnificent and ethereal presence.
Your bones may be a simple frame,
But it's what's within that truly matters.
For you are a universe in your own right,
A force to be reckoned with, a fire that never sputters.
Raging worlds collide within you,
Storms that you battle every day.
And though no one else may see it,
I see the strength you display.
You're more than just flesh and bones,
More than what meets the eye.
You are a universe unto yourself,
A marvel, a phenomenal surprise.
In this universe that you are,
I see stars that light up the sky.
And though others may overlook you,
I'll always cherish the feeling of standing by your side.
So let them see you as they will,
A simple frame of bones and skin.
But know that I see the true you,
The universe that lies within.
