Enamored

I watch the curls cradle their ethereal face

With eyes shooting beauty through me like a gun

Entry wound as big as the universe

My heart and my love for them had become one

Luscious lips filled with sugar and grace

Rosy on skin that's been kissed by the sun

Verbalizing words so differently

Leaving me mesmerized, more than anyone

Those words come out so softly

From a heart so virtuous, with peace it hums

Clouds of unspecific thoughts roam the corners of their mind

Intelligence and beauty in them unite

When they smile, their dimples coating their rind

I get so joyous over this marvelous sight

And I wonder if they know

That they're the one I think of every night

For my love is all-encompassing, pure.

It's not about the exterior,

But rather, what they carry to endure.

For within them is a universe,

A galaxy of thoughts and emotions;

And I am enamored with who they are,

The depths of their oceanic devotions.

So I will continue to watch in awe,

As they navigate this world with grace;

And in my heart, they'll always remain,

A love beyond border, an eternal embrace.
