A Language of Love

I wanna learn your language, so I can speak your heart,
And tell you how much I love you, though we may be apart,
I want to whisper sweet nothings, in the tongue of the divine,
So you can feel my love, even if we're in different time.
The language of love is not confined to words, written or spoken,
It's communication through every sense, every feeling that awoken,
It's in the gentle touch, the gaze that meets, the unspoken vows,
It's the language of the heart, the message our soul avows.
But still, I wanna learn your language, the syntax of your soul,
So I can tell you how much I love you, though the world may cajole,
I wanna tell you in the whispers of the wind, across the seas,
And in the rustle of the leaves on trees.
I wanna tell you in the glow of the moon, the warmth of the sun,
And in the colors of the rainbow, when the storms are done,
I wanna tell you through the songs of the morning birds,
And in the passion of the waves, when the ocean stirs.
For I believe that angels and roses understand,
The language of love, that defies the sea and land,
And in their whispers, I can find the words to say,
How much you mean to me, in every fleeting day.
So, my love, I will learn your language, with every beat of my heart,
And speak it with every breath, every day, not just at the start,
I'll whisper it in the language of the divine,
So you can feel it through time, and know it's always mine.
